Mulmul (pronounced muh-l muh-l as in mulberry) is a fine, soft cotton muslin from India. It is sheer, delicate and lightweight and often referred to as the wonder gossamer or woven wind. Historically, it was a fabric once exclusive to Indian royalty, which today has gained popularity all over the world.

All sizes are based on Standard US Women's Misses sizes. Please follow the size chart below to find your size.
If you are between sizes, it is recommended to select the larger of the two sizes.
Some styles may run small or big. In such cases, please follow the Fit guide given with each style.

Bust : Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.
Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tap comfortably loose.
Hips: Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.

However, some materials and processes are difficult to source with organic certification. No clothing line can be perfectly “green” (and hence we avoid the terms "eco-friendly" and "sustainable"), but we support people and businesses that are genuine do-gooders and care about the future of the planet.
Our clothing is designed in New York and manufactured in India, in facilities where we spend time to know that workers are treated well and paid fairly.We seek to promote traditional indigenous materials and crafts and use them creatively within the contemporary context.
Sustainability is also a design question. No matter how pure its origins, a garment is not sustainable if it’s not a pleasure to wear and keep. We like our clothes and designs to be less about fashion's passing trends and more about subtle nuances and how one feels in the clothes we make. We endeavor to create heirloom pieces with timeless appeal; products with an optimal balance of utility, longevity, beauty, and quality.
We apologize we do not offer pre-ordering of products. You may however send us an e-mail at orders@mulmulstore.com requesting a reserve on a particular style/size and we will notify you when backordered items become available so you may purchase them online at www.mulmulstore.com Please allow 4-6 weeks for re-stocking. If the style has been back-ordered, we will mention an expected date of arrival.
Yes. Due to the volatile nature of the cotton crop, the price of cotton constantly fluctuates and hence the cotton fabric. While prices are generally constant for upto 6-12 months, there may be a slight increase in prices depending on the current market prices to procure the cotton fabric. Wholesale buyers please note, we will notify you of any price changes at least 2 months prior to your order.

No. It is not mandatory to create an account prior to placing your order at mulmulstore.com but registering with us does have a few benefits.
By creating an account, you will be able to checkout faster, store wish lists and easily view the status of all orders from one convenient user page. You will also receive insider updates on new products and discount codes that may be redeemed online at mulmulstore.com
Yes. We are registered in New York state. By law, we are required to collect sales tax (8.875%) from customers residing in New York state. Residents from other states are not charged sales tax but are responsible for complying with local and state laws.
Yes. At checkout just select "I do not have a Paypal account" You will then be directed to a page where you could fill out your credit/debit card details and pay without registering for a Paypal account. You will get a confirmation once your payment is processed.
Shipping & Returns
Your order will ship with UPS ground within 1-2 days of placing an order online at www.mulmulstore.com
For example, if you place your order on Monday, your order will ship on Tuesday or Wednesday. We will notify you via e-mail when your order ships. Please allow 5-7 business days for your order to reach you.
You may request for expedited shipping for an additional charge. Please contact us at orders@mulmulstore.com for special shipping requests.
International orders, please allow upto 2 weeks for delivery.
No. Unfortunately we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes. Please provide us with your work or home address.
All merchandise purchased online at www.mulmulstore.com may be returned within 14 days upon receipt for a refund, exchange or store credit (subtracting the original shipping and handling fees). Credit is valid for six months from date of issue. Once your credit has expired it becomes invalid.
All items returned must be in the same condition in which it was received with tags and packaging. We will not accept returns of used or soiled merchandise.
Intimate apparel (underwear), accessories and jewelry for health reasons may not be returned or exchanged. All sale items are FINAL SALE. No credit or exchange will be accepted.
